The Republic of Serbia — a state in South-Eastern Europe, in the Central part of the Balkan Peninsula.
Agriculture is an important part of the Serbian economy with an annual export capacity of 12 billion euros. The total area of agricultural land exceeds 6.12 million hectares. Agricultural production to the greatest extent established in the fertile Pannonian lowlands and in the southern valleys adjacent to rivers Sava, Danube and Morava. Serbia produces various agricultural products: mostly grains, fruits and vegetables. All of this is a significant part of GDP and exports.
The country ranks second in the world in the cultivation of raspberry and plum.
The country is also the largest producer of corn and wheat.
